Amplifier Binding Posts - Pack of 4
Please Note: This listing is for a pack of 4. Gold-plated ultra high quality speaker terminal, for amplifier.
Please Note: This listing is for a pack of 4. Michell's 4mm banana plugs are milled from brass and then gold plated. They are also colour coded.
Big Mother Binding Posts - Pack of 4
Please Note: This listing is for a pack of 4. Michell's ‘Big Mother’ binding posts are gold-plated ultra high quality speaker terminals that need a 5mm hole for mounting and can cope with panels up to 18mm thick. Consisting of a handy large knurled screw-fit with integral solder lug, they come supplied with the necessary isolation washers and nuts.
The Connect-IT E features a "dual twisted pair" technology with a 100% foil shield for rejection of EM and RF interference – the types that cause hum and buzz in your system. Dual twisted pair construction consists of two identical conductors for positive and negative signals that are tightly wrapped around each other. This enables excellent noise rejection that wouldn't be possible with ordinary cables.
The Rega Couple 3 is designed to complement the performance of any hi-fi audio system. The low capacitance cable used for the Couple 3 is constructed using oxygen free copper (OFC) with an ultra-flexible jacket. This cable was originally developed as a critical component used inside the award-winning reference level Aura phono stage. The 80pF capacitance of this cable is matched to Rega's custom tonearm cables used throughout the Rega range. This feature will optimise performance when used between phono stage and amplifier.
This hand assembled Rega mains power lead is constructed with high specification IEC and mains plugs. The cable is constructed from the highest quality 1.5mm² copper conductors with fully earthed, braided & tinned, copper RF screen. This provides the best possible coupling between mains supply and product whilst ensuring low resistance at high current levels. Finally, the transparent outer PVC jacket displays tinned copper braid adding a distinctive visual appearance.
The Isis RCA-RCA Tonearm Interconnect
The ISIS is a twin line RCA to RCA coaxial interconnect, especially designed to provide superior signal transfer quality between your high-end turntable and pre-amplifier at a very affordable price. Where high-end turntables often are supplied with meagre interconnects, significant improvements in sound quality, resolution and imaging can be achieved by upgrading to The Isis.
The River interconnect is a high-quality cable with low capacitance and good screening and truly audiophile performance. It has silver plated copper conductors, FEP outer insulation, PTFE for the dielectric between core and screen and a capacitance of only 64pF per metre. This makes the River an ideal interconnect to use between step-up transformers and phonostages, between turntables and phonostages, or in any location where low capacitance high noise-immunity are critical. Line-level sources too can benefit from employing the properties of River interconnects. CD players, DACs, streamers etc. can benefit from a low capacitance cable to maximise bandwidth and minimise the chances of instability in circuits which are sensitive to capacitance loads. Passive pre-amps in particular should be used with low capacitance cable and the Rivers are ideal for use with both resistive passive pre-amps and transformer passive pre-amps.
