Blackbird Moving Coil Cartridge
The Blackbird is the result of Sumiko's quarter century of service to analogue devotees; music lovers who value the expressiveness and emotional authenticity available only from analogue records. It builds upon the strengths of, and lessons learned from The Blue Point Special, no aspect of the cartridge's design was left to chance. With the right preamplification, the low-output Blackbird takes all of the performance features of the standard version and pushes them to the next level with the improved tracking that lightweight coils afford. With the level of performance and clarity of many cartridges twice its price, the Blackbird was designed for exceedingly low noise levels, exceptionally wide dynamic range, and the highest possible fidelity in its price class. The Blackbird has already become a veritable analogue classic and is sure to delight many more discerning ears for years to come. Key Features: Moving coil cartridge with low mass elliptical stylus with long-grain boron cantilever Wide dynamic range Carefully crafted by hand Low mechanical impedance system Standard 0.5” hole spacing mounting system Available in two output versions, to suit any listening system
Cadenza Black Moving Coil Cartridge
The Cadenza Black has been optimized for an amazing tonal neutrality, dynamics and purity of sound. It performs better than any other cartridge at this level in detail, consistency and sound staging. The Cadenza Series of high-end Moving Coil (MC) cartridges was born out of the success of Ortofon's Kontrapunkt and MC Jubilee models. Though these models are amongst the most popular Ortofon has ever produced, the Danish cartridge masters still decided to develop a new range that was even more ambitious.
Cadenza Red Moving Coil Cartridge
The Cadenza Red delivers a sound performance that is open and dynamic, with a touch of warmth. It is more relaxed, homogeneous and moderately dynamic when compared to the Cadenza Blue. It also has a great space and depth in the stereo image. All-in, it is a very capable high-end cartridge.
