Rega AOS Moving Coil Phono Stage

Announced at Bristol HiFi Show 2026, The Rega AOS is a high-performance, dedicated moving coil pre-amplifier designed to bridge the gap between entry-level stages and cost-no-object reference components. Built around a circuit design derived heavily from Rega's award-winning Aura Reference MC, the AOS provides a "no compromise" approach to vinyl playback.    Housed in a custom-engineered, half-width aluminium chassis, the AOS delivers the exceptional definition and vivid realism required to bring your favourite recordings to life. The AOS is available for demonstration in our Showroom alongside the Planar 10 Turntable with Apheta 3 MC Cartridge and Rega Amplifiers. Key Features: Aura-Derived Circuitry: Reference-grade topology for high-end transparency and scale.    Custom Aluminium Chassis: Provides effective RFI shielding and a compact, half-width footprint.    Zero Digital Interference: A pure analogue signal path for the ultimate "black" background.    Automatic Standby: A switchable feature that puts the unit to sleep when no signal is detected (can be deactivated via rear dip-switches).    Lifetime Warranty: Backed by Rega’s legendary lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
