Pro-Ject Cork & Rubber-IT Turntable Mat

Isolating the critical parts of your turntable is vitally important when trying to achieve true audiophile quality vinyl playback. A key step in this, which is often overlooked, is isolating the actual vinyl record from the turntable platter. Quality cartridges are extremely sensitive, and can easily detect interactions between your record and an imperfect platter surface. Key Features: Upgrade platter mat with improved sound characteristics Ideal replacement for felt mats Well-suited to metal platters, thanks to its enhanced damping properties Improves timing of audio performance Avoids static build up often associated with felt mats

Pro-Ject Felt Turntable Mat

The use of a felt mat helps ensure a smooth interface between your vinyl record and the turntable platter. As well as offering protection, Pro-Ject felt mats are designed to resist slip, so the audio performance does not suffer in use. On top of felt mats, Pro-Ject Audio Systems also make a cork mat and a leather mat, which offer an upgraded performance compared to the felt designs. The Standard 12" Felt Mat is for use with: Elemental Essential Essential II Genie (all varieties) RPM 1 Carbon Debut S/E3 Debut Carbon Xpression Xpression II Xpression Carbon UKX Pro-Ject 1.2 (all varieties) Pro-Ject 2 (all varieties) Pro-Ject 2.9 Pro-Ject 6.9

Pro-Ject Cork-IT Turntable Mat

This is a Cork mat designed to fit all Pro-Ject series turntables, except Debut II and III models (the Debut Carbon and Debut S/E 3 are compatible). The use of Cork gives the mat special sonic qualities, well-suited to certain deck/cartridge combinations, and also different room-types. A very cost effective way to improve the sound and have less noise by static and dust.

Pro-Ject Leather-IT Turntable Mat

The Pro-Ject Leather-IT turntable mat is designed to enhance the sound of your turntable. Fitting over the centre spindle and sitting comfortably on a 12" platter, the mat is designed to offer a better playback surface than other felt or cork alternatives.
