The RB3000 represents the pinnacle of Rega’s tonearm engineering, pushing the boundaries of analog design to achieve near-zero tolerances. Meticulously hand-built by a team of highly skilled technicians, the RB3000 is a masterclass in precision. It features an innovative, hand-polished aluminium arm tube designed to redistribute mass and eliminate resonance, ensuring the most stable platform possible for your cartridge.

At its heart are improved, hand-selected bearings, each uniquely matched to its spindle as an interference fit. This Rega-developed method ensures there is no measurable "play" in the assembly, dramatically increasing the amount of detail retrieved from the record surface. Built without the use of adhesives to maintain maximum rigidity, the RB3000 is designed to maximise the performance of both the tonearm and your chosen cartridge (sold separately).

Key Features:

  • Meticulously hand built
  • Hand selected bearings to be an interference fit with the paired spindle
  • Near frictionless movement horizontally and vertically
  • Designed for maximum performance
  • Lifetime warranty against manufacture defects

Frictionless Performance by Design

The core philosophy of the RB3000 is simple: Maximum stiffness, minimum interference. To achieve this, we have minimised mechanical joints throughout the structure. By using the highest-grade materials in all critical areas, we ensure that the tonearm remains perfectly rigid, allowing the cartridge to track with unparalleled accuracy.

Engineering Beyond Adhesives

In a feat of precision engineering, the tolerances on the RB3000 are so exacting that no adhesive is used at any point in its construction. While most manufacturers rely on glues that can dampen energy or degrade over time, the RB3000 is a purely mechanical triumph—bolted and fitted with such microscopic accuracy that it functions as a single, solid unit.

Features at a Glance:

  • Bespoke Vertical Bearing: A brand-new, low-mass bearing assembly designed specifically to complement the Planar 10 turntable. It provides the smoothest possible movement with near-zero friction.
  • Redistributed Mass: The award-winning Rega arm tube has been completely redesigned. By strategically moving mass away from sensitive areas, we’ve significantly reduced internal stresses and harmful resonances.
  • Meticulous Craftsmanship: Every single arm tube is hand-polished to a mirror finish. This isn't just for aesthetics; hand-polishing allows us to keep the mass to an absolute minimum, ensuring the arm is as responsive as possible.
  • Reduced Bearing Stress: The increased rigidity of the advanced tube design actually reduces the physical workload on the bearings, extending the life of the component and maintaining "out-of-the-box" performance for years to come.
